MEP Manager (Electrical bias) Our client is a leading American main contactor ( turnover of circa. $1Billion) who operate across the USA. They are looking to hire an MEP Manager (Electrical Bias) for a Data Centre project in Miami, further details below: To start summer 2024 or earlier Project scheduled for 18-24 months Data Centre new build They will consider trades background or technically qualified They will obtain the Work Visa and cover flights + relocation costs and temporary accommodation and a vehicle for the first few months Duties could include: • Responsible for MEP trade coordination for all aspects of project. • BIM modelling lead. • On going coordination with design team and subcontractors regarding finalization of design, coordination of submittals and RFIs for MEP trades. • Coordination with other JTM staff for implementation of MEP trade install • BMS coordination between Design Team, Owner’s BMS Trade Manager, and subcontractor • Monitoring of Owner Furnished Equipment (OFE) fabrication and delivery. Review of submittals / coordination of OFE submittals with BIM model • Coordination of Crane Pick Plans / Rigging of OFE • Coordination of MOP creation, review and submission to Operations Staff • QA/QC for all MEP trades • Troubleshooting / issue resolution for MEP trades in field • Coordination with Commissioning Agent for start-up of all Owner Furnished Equipment. • Coordination with Commissioning Agent / assistance in scheduling of Commissioning Activities • Creation / close out of punch list / updating of BIM model If interested, please send cv to andreea.ursu@icdsuk.com

Senior Quantity Surveyor (Cost Planning) - Dublin City (Hybrid) €100K ++ per annum Bonus, Pension & benefits This role applies to anyone based in Ireland, or in the UK and looking to return back home! Required for leading developer undertaking large housing and apartment projects across Dublin. Will join the Cost Planning Department, to assist in the provision of quantity surveying services under the direction of senior management undertaking pre-contract duties. Some key responsibilities: Act as a senior member of the cost planning team tasked with the preparation of cost plans from early feasibility through to detailed cost planning ready for handover to project team. Participation in design team meetings through the design phases offering cost advice to ensure the financial viability of the project without compromising the design. Taking off Quantities to create Bills of Quantities for upcoming developments, interpreting those BoQ’s to provide site teams with working documents and budgets. Development / maintenance of a databank of construction costs to assist the ongoing Cost Estimation and Financial Appraisal process. Prepare Part V applications to Local Authorities and follow those submissions to ensure compliance is achieved. Liaising and engaging PQS consultant to prepare BOQ for the project budget. ensuring the PQS has the latest information. Attend meetings and undertake site visits. Requirements Relevant 3rd level qualification. Several years' post-graduate experience with developer, Tier 1 main contractor or PQS practice. Good IT skills with competency at Buildsoft-Cubit, Cost-x or equivalent. Strong analytical skills and ability to represent findings. A willingness to attend training and to develop relevant knowledge, techniques and skills.
